Samenvatting
This paper contains a brief description of a literaturestudy on the subject of modeling for the estimation of waiting times on stops of public transport, with the helpof rather easily observable input variables. In behalf of the required insight in the assumptions of models, in the first instance it is dealt with some important aspects, such as arrival pattern of the passengers respectively of the vehicles and the definition of waiting times. Furthermoresome of the most important models are described.
