The principles for the working of a microcomputer are just the same as for any other computer. The set up can he divided into a central processing unit, a memory and input and output modules. With the aid of a computer program, flow charts and a computer program language it is possible to solve the problems. An introduction to the working of the microcomputer and its application in traffic and transport is presented.
