Samenvatting
A study is carried out about the illumination needed at work zones at rural undivided roads. The situation on the approach area of the worksite was analysed in an earlier study. Now emphasis is laid on the traffic controls in the work area. By way of theoretical formulation it was analysed how the perceptive devices like panels, panel mounted lamps, i raised reflective markers and stripes may serve as a reference in estimating one's own speed and position.
