Samenvatting
A pilot study under 25 households varying in labour force participation gives an overview of the motives which workers have in their choice of working hours and the margins within which their choice has to be made. The choice of working hours is of course strongly influenced by the employers. Nevertheless working hours appear to fluctuate because of several events in the personal or social situation.
