Samenvatting
Besides a stock taking of the employment connected with traffic and transport the main purpose of the study was to develop a mathematical scheme by which the employment effects of modifications in the volume of traffic and transport caused by governmental policies or autonomous developments can be calculated. In the Netherlands 600.000 persons are working in the traffic and transport sector. For circa 70% of this employment a direct and quantitative relationship can be made with the volume of traffic and transport.
