Samenvatting
For the construction of national highways an extensive system of laws and rules is applied. To see whether this system is still useful the construction of the national highway A1 in the region of Twente is described. The following phases: the policy phase, in which the traffic and transport structural scheme and the personal transport multiyear program are determined; the project study phase, in which the project is determined; the planning, the contract, the tender and finally the construction phase are distinguished.
