The Dutch legislation on noise hindrance is a so- called framework- law. The way of execution and sometimes the introduction of certain measures and standards is done by decrees. These decrees have the same legal status as the law itself and therefore their text should be considered as a legal text. Aspects of their text are discussed here. The law and its decrees are not made to make the noise hindrance undone, but to regulate the noise produced.
