Samenvatting

Cornering and braking tests have been carried out on a range of lorry tyres designed for different purposes and having different tread patterns, after which it is concluded that the lorry tyres give lower braking adhesion than car tyres in the wet, particularly on smooth road surfaces. Probably the tread pattern and tread composition are the most significant factors contributing to this conclusion.
