Samenvatting

Two experiments are reported which examine the role of dynamic information in face recognition. Identification of faces was significantly higher from dynamic than from still point- light displays, but accuracy was quite low even in the dynamic condition. This contrasted with identification of facial expressions, which was performed quite accurately from dynamic displays.
