De SWOV heeft een schriftelijke enquête uitgevoerd om te inventariseren welk whiplash-onderzoek in Nederland plaatsvindt. Dit rapport doet verslag van de resultaten, waarbij onderscheid wordt gemaakt tussen letselpreventief onderzoek, medisch diagnostisch onderzoek en dossieronderzoek. Er wordt een aanpak van onderzoek voorgesteld om omvang en ernst van het whiplash-probleem vanuit het perspectief van schadeverzekeraar nader in beeld te brengen
