Samenvatting
The number of traffic accidents in Japan during 1976 generally showed a decreasing trend. (9.8% decrease from 1975). Traffic safety policies were initiated and implemented in 1976 to built-up or improve traffic environment, dissemination of knowledge, safer operation, vehicle safety, traffic control, rescue systems, damage compensation and safety science and technology for all kinds of traffic safety.
