Samenvatting
The definition of a handicap, proposed by the World Health Organization is given: "In the context of health experience a handicap is a disadvantage for a given individual, resulting from an impairment or a disability, that limits or prevents the fulfilment of a role that is normal for that individual". In the Netherlands a survey is made concerning age distribution, sex and type of handicap. Figures are presented here.
