WISETRIP is a research project co-funded by the European Commission underthe Seventh Framework Program for Research & Development (R&D). The overall objective of this project is to develop and validate an innovative mobility service platform, which provides and personalizes multi-modal travel information. This system combines a variety of national and international journey planners in order to provide the user with real time personalized information at any time and place. This paper will try to describe WISETRIP system and give an idea of how it will be developed and validated, focusing on the personalization system, where ETRA I+D plays a major role.
