Women arrested for drunken driving in Boston : social characteristics and circumstances of arrest.

The social characteristics and circumstances of arrest of 73 women arrested for driving while intoxicated and referred to the Boston Alcohol Safety Action Project were examined. Driving while intoxicated was a necessary but not sufficient condition to account for the arrests.
