This thesis is concerned with children and the home environment. The behaviour of children in their environment in partially influenced by its physical possibilities. From the literature is shown that especially complexity, manipubility and affordances for different activities are important environmental aspects. Assuming that these are important qualities of home-environment of children, the research focused on the relation between these physical aspects and the children's use and experience of different environments.
