Workshop on the Physiological and Psychological factors in risk taking with particular reference to road traffic accidents, Gieten, May 23-25, 1978.

A list of participants and the three-day program are given. An introduction is concerned with definition of risk, cognitive decision theory, environmental design and the human operator as a bundle of risk factors. Relevant research projects in several European countries are summarized.
