Samenvatting
This article summarizes the new edition of the Transportation Research Board's Highway Capacity Manual. New analysis procedures are described for freeway systems, 2-lane highways, and oversaturated conditions. Guidance is given in the evaluation of interchanges, the use of computerized simulation models, and the evaluation of entire facilities, corridors and area-wide systems.
