Samenvatting
In a small village between Utrecht and The Hague the Dorpsstraat forms the backbone of the street pattern. It carried 3-4.000 vehicles per day until a parallel relief road could take over the through traffic. A thorough reconstruction of the Dorpsstraat could be combined with major sewerage works and therefore the actual costs of the project could be kept down. Apart from that the Ministry of Transport gave a considerable subsidy for the upgrading of the environment.
