Results of measurements into the presence of side reflection and into the turning of the bicycle lighting are presented. In general it can be concluded that in December 1987 about 10% more bicycles had side reflection than in April 1987.Cyclists in the age group 16- 34 used significantly less their vehicle lighting. Recommendations are presented to improve the presence of side reflection and the use of bicycle lighting.
