Samenvatting
1268 cases of injured road users, who needed hospital treatment and survived, and 1705 fatal cases from the period 1965-1969 were studied. With the use of all available data the characteristics and aspects of these injuries are discussed and their amount of severity classified. The collection of data proved to be very difficult. Recommendations are made in order to make the "traffic accident syndrome" easier to survey.
