Samenvatting
It is tried to show with the aid of stochastic models the traffic flow on a free lane for one-way traffic. While only knowledge on all possible models of traffic flows can be achieved by numeric discussions of the problems, the therefore necessary basic principles are discussed. For the description of traffic flows on more lanes the possibilities of a simulation technique is studied, in particular with the view on lane changing.
